Louis has had a lot of fun over the last couple of weeks. On Good Friday the nursery achieved the incredible feat of taking the kids to the zoo, to Portobello AND up Arthur's Seat! His grandparents took him to the Butterfly Farm and a really cool play park at Musselburgh. He went to Deep Sea World (where he pointed at fish! Louis hasn't really pointed before) and then slept through the whole of a very noisy visit to the very loud Links Market.
This weekend Louis, Daliah, Sean and I went to Glasgow for the weekend and all had a brilliant time. Sean and Louis met Karon for lunch then went to two different play parks at Glasgow Green whilst Daliah and I had a fab time shopping.
The next day Louis decided that 5.30am was an appropriate time to wake up. Poor Sean took him for a walk and ended up in MacDonalds with him! After breakfast (at the hotel, not egg mcmuffins!) we got a taxi to Kelvingrove. Taxis are far cheaper in Glasgow and it was cheaper than bus or underground. Anyway, we were at Kelvingrove for the Doctor Who exhibition :-) It was good, although poor Louis fell asleep outside in a quiet park and woke up with a dalek screaming 'Exterminate' at him!
After the exhibition we chilled outside on the grass in the sunshine. Daliah read, I snoozed and Louis and Sean rolled down the hill :-) After a little wander round the mail gallery we got a taxi into town and had dinner at Wagamamas. On the way back to the station we did thankfully remember to turn around and collect our bags from the hotel! We all had a fab time though.
....now back to work :-(
